This smokehouse in QC offers yummy smoked veggies, fish and chicken at affordable prices

Smoked dishes are always a treat, but they're always a little pricey — with good reason!

This smokehouse in Quezon City, however, promises affordable prices but uncompromised flavor.

In an interview on Unang Hirit, Usok Smokehouse co-owner Michael Valera explained the process of smoking meat.

"'Pag smoked, we cook it low and slow. Not only can we keep the moisture, kaya moist ang pagkain namin, but it also breaks down the collagen or protein nung mga karne," he said.

He then showcased their restaurant's smoked veggies, fish, and chicken, which were cooked for one to three hours.

The result: soft, juicy, and flavorful meat and veggies!

The Smoked Veggies are priced starting P199 to P359; the Smoked Chicken is at P199 to P699; and the Smoked Fish can cost from P199 to P699.
