3 yummy baby food recipes that Solenn Heussaff makes for daughter Thylane

Solenn Heussaff is inspiring us to step up the preparation of our babies’ food in healthy and delicious ways.

Now that her adorable daughter Thylane a.k.a. #TiliBolz is old enough to eat solid food, the Kapuso actress, artist and health buff has been sharing some totally extra baby food recipes that are actually pretty simple to make.

Of course, Solenn prepares these dishes in such a way that they look like they were taken right out of a gourmet food magazine and you forget they were made for an infant.

1. Cream Cheese French Toast with Apple Blueberry Dipping Bowl

Solenn starts by spreading delicious cream cheese on soft bread.

She flattens it, cuts it up into sticks and dips it into a milk and egg mixture.

Finally, she cooks the sticks in some unsalted butter, and serves them with a bowl of fruit-flavored baby food.

2. Grilled Chicken with Avocado, Greek Yoghurt and Finger Toasties

Solenn mixes avocado with a little tahini (sesame seed paste).

She tops this with small pieces of grilled chicken in Greek yoghurt with lemon garlic ricotta, and throws in some finger toasties with unsalted butter.

Based on her IG post, this dish was inspired by her chef brother Erwan Heussaff, who also just had a baby with actress-host Anne Curtis.

3. Salmon Potato Croqueta on Broccoli Cream Cheese Puree

To make salmon croquetas, Solenn mixes some mashed boiled potato, cooked salmon (shredded), butter, a bit of natural mayo, scallions, and lemon juice.

She rolls this up into balls, dusts it with flour, dips it in egg, then coats it with breadcrumbs before cooking them in canola oil.

Gently lay the croqueta in a bed of delicious puree made from steamed broccoli with a teaspoon of cream cheese.
