These delicious cocktails are inspired by Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — and you can buy a flight to enjoy at home

Now there's a bright idea.

Poblacion favorite Run Rabbit Run (RRR) and Full Circle Craft Distillers, makers of ARC Artisanal Spirits, have come together to whip up not one but three, ready made cocktails you can enjoy at home.

What's better? The cocktails are inspired by the Philippine island groups Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. According to RRR owner Michael Hearn, the bar concocted the cocktails in flavors that best represent each of the country's main islands. 

RRR used three ARC artisanal spirits in crafting the cocktails, including the flagship Archipelago Botanical Gin, the Archipelago Barrel Reserve Gin, and finally the  Archipelago Lava Rock Vodka.

The first of the three is called Luzon and it's a clean and refreshing blend that uses ARC Lava Rock Vodka. With calamansi syrup, cointreau, cucumber, and mint, the cocktail can easily lift any lazy, weekend afternoon.

Visayas meanwhile is a tropical fruity blend that balances sweet and spicy. ARC Botanial Gin serves as the base to the combination of pineapple syrup, fresh chili infusion, yellow chartreuse, maraschino, and nutmeg. The kick of spice and lingering heat from the cocktail will remind you of afternoon parties by the beach under the sun.

Finally, Mindanao. It's a full-bodied cocktail with rich textures and deep berry flavors made with a blend of cherry herring, blueberry jam, lychee syrup, and fresh orange juice. Of the three, we highly recommend Mindanao.

ARC artisanal spirits celebrate the Philippine landscape. Its flagship drink, the award-winning Archipelago Botanical Gin, features 28 botanicals, 22 of which are locally sourced and foraged. The Archipelago Barrel Reserve Gin meanwhile is laid down in 225-liter American oak barrels, and finally the Archipelago Lava Rock Vodka is filtered over lava rocks from the Taal and Mayon volcanoes.
