The Wholesome Table 'temporarily suspends operations until the world starts to normalize'

The Wholesome Table, that wonderful healthy restaurant, has temporarily suspended all operations "until the world starts to normalize" again.

It announced the unfortunate news on Instagram Monday, saying "the last few months have been really difficult and challenging for everyone."

"The lockdown situation has deeply affected not only us but people all across the world as well. This includes the dining industry," it said.

Thanking everyone for the support, The Wholesome Table expressed hope that "this is just a small roadblock and we'll be back to welcome you to our wholesome table."

"We are currently doing our best to find solutions so we can open our doors again," it added.

Following the easing of lockdown restrictions in June, The Wholestome Table had reopened its restaurants for dine-in and delivery. It even ran promos, expanded its delivery operations, as well as launched a delivery website to adjust to the times.

Unfortunately, the restaurant, which is popular for its healthy but delicious choices, hasn't been spared of the economic effects of COVID-19 and has had to suspend operations, even temporarily.

Many businesses, chief among them bars and restaurants like Cubao's TodayxFuture, San Juan's Moksha, Manila's My Kitchen at the Oasis, and Quezon City's Shangri-La Fine Chinese Cuisine, had earlier announced closure amid the pandemic. — LA, GMA News
