Kimpoy Feliciano shares recipe for his favorite pandesal with Italian dip

Give your merienda a fancy twist with Kimpoy Feliciano's favorite pandesal and Italian dipping sauce.

In a live episode of ECQusina on Friday, Kimpoy showed viewers not only how to give pandesal an Italian flavor, but also how to make butter toast pandesal perfect with iced coffee.

For the butter toast pandesal, all you'll need to do is heat the bread in a pan (if you don't have an oven toaster) and put butter and sugar on top of it. Afterwards, simply heat it up again.

The social media sensation revealed that his mom even baked the pandesal since they couldn't purchase any pandesal around his area. He and his mom are currently in New Zealand.

"Bata palang kami pandesal na talaga kinakain namin," he said.

For the Italian dipping sauce, simply mix together Italian herb blend and three teaspoons of parmesan cheese together. Then, add the balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

After toasting your pandesal, you can dip it in and have an Italian afternoon!

Kimpoy shared that it doesn't have to be strictly pandesal. You can make this merienda with just about any bread available.

"ECQusina" is an online show hosted by Kara David that goes live on Facebook every week where she teaches viewers how to make tasty dishes just with daily grocery items.

Other celebrities who have appeared in the show are Bea Binene, Ken Chan, Gladys Reyes, Christopher Roxas, and Katrina Halili.
