Vikings shows what buffet dining looks like in the new normal
Buffets can still be a thing in the new normal!
In a Facebook video, Vikings Luxury Buffet in SM Megamall showed how they plan on ensuring customers' safety amid the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Vikings assured that all their staff will be wearing clean uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. They will also be strictly implementing social distancing.
Customers are expected to fill out a health declaration form via mobile phones. Without it, visitors cannot enter. Temperature checks and hand sanitizing is required for all customers.
Glass shields are installed at food stations, and instead of lining up to get food, customers will order all they can using disposable forms.
Customers are also provided paper bags where they can store their face masks.
More and more restaurants are reopening after Metro Manila eased to general community quarantine, after two months of strict enhanced community quarantine.
As COVID-19 continues to threaten the country, establishments have set up safety protocols for the "new normal."
