Here’s how you can make your own cold brew at home, according to Starbucks
If you’re missing Starbucks’ signature cold brew then you’re in for a treat!
On Facebook, the famous coffee shop showed its followers how they make their cold brew.
“While there’s distance between us now, coffee has always brought us together,” it wrote.
If you have coffee grounds, a strainer, and some cold water, you can definitely prepare the delicious beverage right at home.
You can brew coffee in two ways: either by using a mason jar or a coffee press, according to Kara Evangelista, Starbucks Philippines Coffee Ambassador 2019.
Just add 215 ml of water to 35 g of coarse coffee grounds in a mason jar or a coffee presser. After steeping it in the fridge for 16 hours, strain the coffee, place into a drinking glass, and add ice as you wish. You now have your very own cold brew!
Kara advised that if you want a less concentrated drink, just add water. If you want it to be creamier, add milk to your liking.
Just recently, Starbucks reopened their stores for delivery, takeout, and drive-thru after it was temporarily closed amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
