Do you like your corned beef dry or soupy? Kara David has just the recipe for both

There are two types of Pinoys: Those who like their corned beef dry and those who like it a little bit soupy.

To make sure everyone is happy, "Pinas Sarap" host Kara David worked double time in the kitchen and made two very different types of corned beef dishes on her online show "ECQusina."

She shared how to make "Adobo-style Corned Beef Flakes" for those who have the taste for dry, crispy goodness, and "Corned Beef Soup" for those who want a bowl of something warm and cozy.

You don't need any expert cooking skills or fancy ingredients to make any of these dishes.

For the adobo-style corned beef flakes, you would only need chunky corned beef, garlic, and vinegar.

The soup, on the other hand, would only require corned beef, garlic, cabbage, and about two cups of beef stock if you have it lying around.

It's nice to keep lots of options up your sleeve because, as Kara says: "Merong dalawang klase ng tao: 'Yung gusto nila 'yung medyo masabaw or 'yung talagang tuyong-tuyo yung corned beef."

"ECQusina" with Kara David is a weekly show on Facebook live where she helps her fellow homecooks make the most out of their daily grocery store items.

In the previous week, she showed viewers how to add a ramen-style twist to an ordinary pack of instant noodle soup.

Kara also worked some magic on a can of Spanish sardines and made it the star ingredient in a tasty pasta dish.
