An Indian restaurant in Cainta, Rizal is giving away free meals to passersby amid the enhanced community quarantine.
YouScooper Jirah Joy Padama,shared that while she was walking around Greenpark in Cainta to look for food, she saw an Indian sitting outside an Indian restaurant with a sign that read, "all people free eating here."
His name is Vijay and he offered Jirah and her friend to eat at his restaurant for free.
According to Jirah, the restaurant owner wanted to spread good vibes to other people by giving away free food to passersby.
On March 17, President Rodrigo Duterte placed the whole Luzon on enhanced community quarantine to contain the spread of COVID-19.
As of Sunday, the number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines increased to 3,246 with 152 deaths and 64 recoveries. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
