In Bulacan, a bakery that makes halo-halo pies

What are Philippine summers without halo-halo? All the ice, with scoops of ice cream mixed with all good things like milk and fruits and beans and leche flan!

Enter this bakery in Malolos, Bulacan.

A recent episode of iJuander introduced us to Albert Capito. He owns the Capito's Original Yema Buko Pie shop and he's the creative mind behind the halo-halo pie.

He's fused halo-halo ingredients to create a pie that's truly one of a kind. It features a soft pie crust with buko, custard, yema, ube, macapuno and cheese filling.

The result? A satisfying and delicious pie delicacy! The next best part about it? An entire pie retails for only P240. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/LA, GMA News
