Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo open a cat cafe on Maginhawa Street in QC
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are quite entrepreneurial.
After setting up a studio to do CoLove — their successful YouTube series that has spawned a concert — the two are at it again, this time opening a cat cafe.
Litterbucks is a little cafe on Maginhawa Street in Quezon City that allows guests to cuddle and play with feline friends, while drinking coffee or enjoying tea and eating cookies.
Litterbucks features seven of Jennylyn and Dennis' cats. At the middle of the shop is a tree with built-in landings where cats can hang. There is a string of wooden cat houses on the wall, where they can hang and climb, too.
Tables are few and far between — and set down low on the floor — to allow customers to pet and play with the feline population. A lone emerald green sofa is also there, another space where both people and cats can lounge.
According to Nelson Canlas' 24 Weekend report, Litterbucks can accommodate up to 10 people at a time, who can hang there for up to two hours only — yes Litterbucks is pretty fully booked these days.
Jennlyn's famous cookies are available at Litterbucks for P209 a piece. Coffee meanwhile start at P150 a mug. — LA, GMA News
