As though to whet our appetites, only 300 pieces of the MOS Cheese Burger (P149) and Yakiniku Burger (P169) will be on offer for each day of the pop-up.
According to MOS Burger representatives, following the Galleria opening are stores in SM Megamall, Robinson’s Magnolia, O Square in Greenhills, and Robinson’s Place Manila.
A MOS Café will follow suit, which Mr. Hubert Young, CEO of MOS Burger Philippines, describes as a bit more upscale than the usual MOS outlet with different menu items on offer.
Philippine exclusive-items are also in the pipeline.
"We will launch with our core items, just to establish ourselves, and then maybe in two months we will roll the Philippine-exclusive ones out," Young said.
"We know the Philippines loves Japanese food. We hope you can welcome and give the same love to MOS Burger,” Tataeishi Hiroshi, VP of MOS Burger Philippines said on Wednesday.
MOS, which stands for "mountain, ocean, and sun," first opened in Tokyo in 1972. It now has 300 stores around the world.
The Philippines is MOS Food Services ninth overseas market since it opened in Korea in 2012.
