Jollibee knocks out Champ in chain’s burger lineup
Jollibee has announced that it will soon do away with its Champ burger.
"We wish to inform you that soon, we will be phasing out our Champ burger in all Jollibee branches," the fast-food company announced on Twitter.
"We are working on big and exciting things this year for our burgers to delight and bring greater joy to our customers," it added.

With over 1,150 stores nationwide, Jollibee claims to be the largest fast food chain in the Philippines, according to its profile in its website. The food and beverage firm has also embarked on an international expansion plan in Vietnam, Brunei, Hongkong, Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Italy and the United Kingdom.
The Champ hamburger is part of its original menu line-up along with Yumburger, Chickenjoy and Jollibee Spaghetti. —NB, GMA News
