This online bakery sells low-carb desserts that are perfect for your New Year's resolutions

Let's be honest, "lose weight" is probably among your New Year's resolutions — maybe has been for the past few years.

But dieting is nearly impossible when you think about all the delicious food you'd be missing out on, especially desserts.

Luckily, this online bakery, Homebaked by Sacha, sells sugar-free, gluten-free, and flourless goodies that are good for those on a low-carb diet and even diabetics.

The genius behind the shop, Chanel Vijayakumar, was inspired to start her business when she and her husband came back from vacation in July 2018 and realized they were at their heaviest.

They tried out the ketogenic diet, cutting down on carbs while increasing their fat intake.

"We changed our lifestyle right then and there. What started as personal treats became our circle of friends' treats too," she told GMA News Online.

Chanel said her husband lost over 20 kilograms, while she lost almost eight. They have since committed to the low-carb and sugarfree lifestyle — made easy by her desserts that won't make you feel like you're missing out on sweets.
