Where to score mouthwatering comfort food in Iligan City

In Iligan City, good food is just around the corner — literally.

Visiting the city's waterfalls should be mandatory — Iligan is not tagged as the "City of Majestic Waterfalls" for nothing — but a recent episode of GMA News TV’s  "Biyahe ni Drew" showed food in Iligan shouldn't be missed.

There's Macki’s Fried House in Barangay San Miguel, proudly bearing the "fried of Iligan" tag. Their customers agree.

Crispy, golden brown goodness can be had for as low as P27.

“Kasi dito, masarap ang kanilang chicken…juicy, malaman talaga at masarap ang timpla,” a diner said.

Meanwhile, Gnar Co. Cafe Bistro, has become something of a tourist spot, thanks to its delicious burgers, awesome coffee, and best: its rad atmosphere and sustainable decor.

Finally, there's Tita Fannie's Liempo and Chicken House in Barangay Palao. It serves delicious pork liempo and grilled chicken boodle-style.
