Famous Amos is opening shop in Manila before July ends, and two locations have been confirmed

Famous Amos Cookies is finally in Metro Manila, and two locations have already been confirmed.

The cookie shop is opening its first store in S Maison at Conrad Manila Pasay City on July 29.

A second location has also been confirmed, all the way at the other side of Manila: SM North EDSA’s The Block. 

Famous Amos Philippines will have on offer their eight signature chunky confections, spearheaded by the No Nut Chocolate Chip. Yep, you can finally have them fresh! No need to buy them in bulk in those membership supermarkets.

Also on offer are Chocolate Chip Pecan, Oatmeal Raisins, Butterscotch, Chocolate Chip Macadamia, White Chocolate Macadamia, Chocolate White Chocolate Chip (chocolate cookie dough with white chocolate chips), and Double Chocolate Chip Pecan (chocolate cookie dough with chocolate chips and pecans).

Famous Amos is a well-known and well-loved cookie brand that first opened in Los Angeles, California in 1975. 

African-American entrepreneur Wally Amos founded it and it was backed by no less than singer Marvin Gaye. 

And a cool trivia: No Nut Chocolate Chip is Wally Amos’ take on his Aunt Della’s original recipe.
