This BGC hotel's restaurant gets an upgrade — it is now bigger, better but still affordable!

Seda's Misto restaurant has long endeared the hotel guests — and regular hungry diners! — thanks to its lunch buffet. It's delicious, there's plenty of dishes on offer, and it's affordable.

So perhaps it's only fitting that after seven years, the pioneering branch, BGC, gets an upgrade.

From a compact 50-seater restaurant at the hotel’s ground floor, Seda BGC’s Misto has not only grown into a sprawling restaurant that accommodate 220 guests. It’s also transferred to the hotel’s expansion tower, where it boasts bright contemporary interiors with a relaxing, resort feel.

The restaurant features the aforementioned sleek show kitchen, a private dining room for ten, and a semi-private area for bigger gatherings of up to thirty persons.

In case we need a refresher: Misto is actually an Italian word for "mixed" which the restaurant is serious about. There's an Indian station, which Chef Romualdo “Pepe” Castillo, corporate chef of Seda Hotels, continues to vouch for, given their  special tandoor oven. 

"The appetizer section [lets] you cut your own Parma ham. And we also have an excellent noodles section,” Chef Pepe continues, adding “We enjoy seeing our diners get more than their peso’s worth."

Meanwhile, Italian Andrea Mastellone, senior group general manager of Seda Hotels, vouches for the authenticity of the Misto Pizza Napoletana and other pizza varieties which make use of authentic caputo flour from Italy.

The delightful buffet also includes a carving station; a tempura station; salad greens and fruits on ice; and a tempting array of desserts to please the sweet tooth.

Regular diners are assured that the bestselling Osso Bucco Lamb Shanks, Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon, Lasagna, Crispy Tadyang, Beef Caldereta and Bagnet remain part of the Seda menu and buffet cycle, but so will a continuously evolving and creative line-up of dishes.
