This is Kelsey Merritt’s idea of self-care and we think it’s awesome
For Kelsey Merritt, self care is treating herself to bangusilog (bangus, rice and egg) and chicken adobo.
At least that’s what she said on Twitter Wednesday morning (Manila time). The first Filipina Victoria’s Secret Angel shared with her 151,000 followers that she had just ordered those two Filipino dishes. And then she hashtagged it selfcare and punctuated it with a wacky-tongue out emoji.
I just ordered bangusilog & chicken adobo and called it #selfcare ????

According to Raphael Inocencie, RPsy, Managing Director and Consultant Psychologist at Better Steps Psychology Inc, “self-care is taking steps to ensure that your well-being is preserved so that you can optimally function in your daily life. It makes one feel better about oneself and it could re-energize you to take on the daily challenges and demands that you have.”
We asked Kelsey where she ordered her chicken adobo but have yet to receive a response. We’ll keep you posted, once we do. But in the meantime, according to her Instagram Stories, Kelsey is currently in Vancouver, Canada. — LA, GMA News
