3 Manila bars among Asia’s Best

Three bars in Manila made it to the 2019 list of Asia's 50 Best Bars, which was announced at the Capitol Theatre in Singapore on May 9.

The Curator Coffee & Cocktails was named The Best Bar in the Philippines. It is ranked 37th in the list, a couple of steps down their 2018 spot (25th). This is the bar’s fourth time being part of the prestigious list.

OTO and The Back Room at Shangri-La The Fort made their Asia’s Best Bars debut at 47th and 50th, respectively.

From  no. 5 in 2018, Hong Kong's The Old Man clinched the No.1 spot, becoming The Best Bar in Asia for 2019.

The list of Asia's 50 Best Bars is created from the votes of the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy, an influential group of over 200 industry leaders across Asia's bar sector.

In 2009, The World's 50 Best Bars list was created with the annual awards ceremony launched in 2012.
