Just opened: The Peak at Grand Hyatt Manila
Occupying the 60th to the 62nd floors of the tallest building in the city is The Peak, the newest lifestyle attraction in the thriving metropolis of Bonifacio Global City.
It houses a bar, a grill, a full-service restaurant, a music lounge where live music can be enjoyed, a whisky bar, and a relaxing and relaxed main receiving room.
From its interiors to the food to the breathtaking view, international hotel chain Grand Hyatt Manila is redefining the “high life” — literally and figuratively.
“[The Peak] wasn’t built for us, but for the Filipino people,” said Grand Hyatt Manila General Manager Gottfried Bogensperger as he welcomed members of the media during the November 23 media launch.
Press the 60th floor button in the elevator to take you straight to The Peak. Upon disembarking, you'll find the restaurant to your right. It serves steak from the grill, Australian Wagyu Ribeye and Maryland crab cakes — all must-tries.
On the left is the entertainment lounge, where live music could be enjoyed.
From either side are stairs that will lead guests to the lounge, where several more surprises await. There is a whisky bar, a deck where drinks can be enjoyed al fresco, and a main receiving area that features a spacious living area where a commanding dining table stands.
“The Peak is like a residence, a home… We want this place to be the second home of Filipinos when they [want to] go out or entertain [family and friends],” Bogensperger adds. “This is not about the hotel. It’s about the venue and what is has to offer. It is about the lifestyle we like to create… to showcase what the Philippines looks like [and to] showcase the talent of Filipinos.”
