Fatness First and Bekylog: Food and laughter in these creatively named restaurants

Would you like some Turonton Gutierrez?

You can order that and more in Pedro ’N Coi, a restaurant owned by Miss Universe Philippines 2011 Shamcey Supsup and her husband Lloyd Lee.

The restaurant is filled with nostalgic odes to TV shows like "OK Ka Fairy Ko" and diners can browse the menu that's filled with Filipino pop culture references inside a jeepney. Fancy some Joey De Lechon?

Pedro ’N Coi is located at Il Centro, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall in Cainta, Rizal.

Fans of grilled street food whose love for eating quash any desire to go to the gym will certainly feel at home in "Fatness First." This kiosk in Laguna is all about the ihaw-ihaw life and the joy food brings. A full belly is a happy belly after all!

And because it's National Language Month, we celebrate the unique local vernacular that is Bekimon / Bekinese.

In Cavite, there's an eatery called Bekylog. As luck would have it, Bekylog is right next to a salon and their lovely neighbors helped design a fun menu. Here, you can dig into some "Chinorvang Nyisig", "Buffalo Pakpak Ganern", and "Tapachinabells."
