What’s on the menu for local, foreign press at the ASEAN media center
The international media enjoyed several Filipino dishes at the ASEAN Media Center on Sunday as they joined their local counterparts in covering the 31st Summit of the regional organization.
While Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went for a Jollibee take-out in Tondo, Filipino and foreign journalists at the media center feasted on bibingka, kalingking (kamote fritters), chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, tanigue ceviche (kinilaw) and a salad of okra, tomatoes, green mangoes, and kesong puti.
