Longganisa star of the show at Guinobatan’s ongoing festival

The town of Guinobatan in Albay is celebrating its fifth longganisa festival, which features an array of delicious dishes as well as street parades and a culinary competition among students from ten schools in the area, as well as restaurants.

This year's winning dish? The Longpanada de Guinobatan (below), created by Joseph Tolosa and Mickie Valeriano.

The annual two-week festival ends on August 15, the feast day of the town patroness, Our Lady of Assumption.
