NZ celebrates 50 years of diplomatic ties with PHL through ‘Experience New Zealand’
The Embassy of New Zealand is celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties with the Philippines and they are inviting the public to taste their finest at the "Experience New Zealand" fair on May 20 to 22.
On the menu for the food fair are Fonterra's line of dairy products under Anchor, and pantry-favorite Palm Corn Beef will be exhibiting alongside New Zealand Natural Ice Cream Inc, Elite Fruit Marketing, Manuka Health New Zealand, Don Revy Phils., Whittaker's Chocolates, and more.
An "Education in New Zealand" talk has also been organized for May 20, 7:30-8:30 p.m. for interested individuals who want to further their education outside the country.
"We have a growing number of Filipino learners choosing New Zealand as their education destination. Around 3,000 Filipinos studied in New Zealand in 2015, 71 percent more than in 2014," New Zealand Ambassador the Philippines David Strachan said.
He added that the introduction of Manila-to-Auckland flights by event partner Philippine Airlines makes it easier for Filipinos to travel, visit, and enjoy New Zealand.
"Experience New Zealand 2016" will be held from May 20 to 22 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Glorietta, Makati City. —Aya Tantiangco/KG, GMA News
