David Licauco’s mom Eden says she is ‘kilig’ with BarDa, supports dream of working with Kathryn Bernardo

David Licauco’s mother, Eden, made her first TV appearance on “Unang Hirit” Thursday, and she shared her support for her son’s dreams.

According to Mommy Eden, she is “Super happy for [David] and very proud,” as he showcases his acting, business, and basketball skills.

Mommy Eden also admitted she is among the thousands who feels kilig with BarDa, the Pambansang Ginoo’s love team with Barbie Forteza.

“I’m a big fan of Barbie and David,” Mommy said, adding she hopes to meet Barbie soon.

When “Unang Hirit” hosts Susan Enriquez and Suzi Entrata-Abrera brought up last week's Bench Body of Work fashion show, where netizens were quick to ship David and Kathryn Bernardo after their cute on-stage interaction, Mommy revealed it's actually David's dream to work with the super star.

“He’s been vocal naman na, parang dream din niya na maka-partner si Kathryn. So nung nakasama niya sa Bench show, I was happy for him,” Mommy Eden said.

When asked for a message for David, the proud mom shared with UH her constant encouragement for her son. “’Yung message ko for him is ‘yung parati niyang sinasabi: keep chasing your dreams. Nandito lang kami,” she said.

David is starring in the upcoming movie “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan,” with Sanya Lopez, Liezel Lopez, Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, Jay Ortega, Chariz Solomon, Joel Torre, Euwenn Mikaell, and more. — Nika Roque/LA, GMA Integrated News
