Marian Rivera gets candid about Dingdong Dantes wanting another baby

Marian Rivera revealed that Dingdong Dantes wants to have another baby.

The Kapuso Primetime Queen got candid about this during her interview in Karen Davila's latest vlog where she shared that her husband wishes to have one more child, while she feels "fifty-fifty" about it.

"Gusto niya eh," she said, laughing, when asked if she and Dingdong were going to have more kids. "Gusto pa niya eh, sabi niya, 'Please one more, one more.' So, nandun ako sa 50-50 ko ngayon dahil gusto ko na marami talagang anak."

Marian, however, shared  that while she wants a lot of kids, she also weighs whether she would be able to devote her all to Dingdong, their two children, Zia and Sixto, and another baby, if ever.  

"Sabi ko nga kay Dong, gusto ko ng maraming anak but iniisip ko kaya ko bang ibigay 'yung 100 percent ko sa inyong lahat? Kasi dalawa 'yung anak ko, si Dong, ako. Ngayon, kung mag-b-baby pa uli ako, kaya ko bang hatiin 'yung katawan ko na lahat kayo ay magagampanan ko nang 100 percent?"

She added that she and Dingdong would joke about this, with him telling her, "'Sige 'yung akin, balato ko na dun sa bunso, basta bigyan mo pa 'ko,' so may mga ganung joke-an kami."

Marian also noted that a third baby is not in their plans, and Dingdong tells her to follow her heart.

"Sabi ni Dong, 'Kung ano 'yung nasa puso mo, hindi kita pipilitin but if you will ask me, I want one more.' Kala mo naman ang dali magbuntis," she quipped.

In an interview on "Unang Hirit" in October 2024, Marian had shared that she would like to focus on her two kids.

"Madali naman mag-anak eh, ang tanong is paano mo papahalagahan o bibigyan ng importansya at palalakihin nang maayos ang mga anak mo. Gusto ko mag-focus doon."

She added that it is challenging being a wife, a mother, an actress, and a businesswoman, but should they be blessed with another, "Why not?"

"Pero sa dalawang 'yan, super blessed and happy na 'ko," she had said.

Marian and Dingdong tied the knot in 2024. They celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last December with a renewal of vows.

In 2023, Marian and Dingdong starred in "Rewind," DongYan's comeback film since "You to Me Are Everything" was released in 2010.

"Rewind" is the second highest-grossing film of all time in the Philippines.
