Dennis and Jennylyn reveal major boo-boo at wedding

On their wedding day back in November 2021, Jennylyn Mercado entrusted Dennis Trillo with the responsibility of bringing their wedding rings to the venue.

And lo and behold, he brought the wrong box.

This was the couple's funny revelation on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Friday where they sat as guests.

According to Jennylyn, she walked down the aisle super irritated with Dennis. 

"May inis talaga," she said. "Bwisit na bwisit ako. Yung hormones ng pregnant woman, 'di ba? Galit ako."

She recalled giving Dennis specific instructions. "Kunin mo 'yung ring, andun sa bag ko, ito 'yung color ng box."

"Dalawa po 'yung box duon," Dennis began his feeble defense. "'Yung isa walang laman. 'Yun 'yung nakuha ko."

When the priest asked for the rings, they gave the box and realized the wedding rings weren't inside. "Namumutla na po ako nun," Dennis admitted.

Thankfully, their house was just five minutes away from the venue, and they had their driver pick up the correct box.

"Pero ang totoo Tito Boy, may singsing man o wala, tuloy pa rin ang kasal. Kalit alambre lang yan na mapulot ko sa kung saan," Dennis said, adding at least it made their wedding truly "unforgettable."

Jennylyn and Dennis tied the knot in a small ceremony some three weeks after they're revealed they were expected and expecting a baby.

During "Fast Talk," Jennylyn turned emotional as she revealed doubting Dennis' intention about marrying her because she was already pregnant by then.

Nearly four years later, the couple is as strong as ever. They headlining the upcoming romcom film "Everything About my Wife."
