Kai Sotto writes appreciation message for Rere Madrid as he recovers from ACL injury

Despite what Kai Sotto went through this month, all is well for him because of his girlfriend Rere Madrid.

On Instagram, the basketball star shared some lovely snaps of him and Rere, along with a short but sweet appreciation message for the Sparkle Star who has been supporting him.

"Through dark times, there's always beautiful days ahead thanks to you [Rere Madrid]," Kai wrote. 

In return, Rere expressed her love to the Gilas Pilipinas player by writing, "Aww. I love you so much," in the comment section.

Earlier this month, Kai confirmed in an Instagram post that he has suffered a torn ACL. Last week, he posted an update on his condition after getting surgery. 

Rere and Kai made a memorable appearance at the GMA Gala in July, which got people wondering whether it was the hard launch of their relationship.

Since then, the couple has shared their sweet moments online, including some from their beach trips. They also went on a vacation in Japan in October.

Kai plays for Koshigaya Alpha in the Japan B-League.
