Megan Young, Mikael Daez share details of their DIY gender reveal party

Megan Young and Mikael Daez were very hands-on in preparing their gender reveal party.

In an Instagram Reel, Mikael shared that Megan set up the balloons. The Kapuso actor was in charge of making the party’s signs so everyone knew where to go.

They also made a fan with their baby pictures on each side.

Megan’s younger sister, Lauren Young, came over and set up the food station with charcuterie. The party also had an arts and crafts corner.

“’Di pa nagsisimula, pagod na me,” Megan said in the video.

Mikael said that the guests only had one task: “To guess the gender of the baby with the color of their outfit.”

Before the reveal, the couple hosted the program and everyone played games.

Then, they told their loved ones they were expecting a boy.

To end the party, everybody took pictures together.

“There’s something so magical and fulfilling about doing something on your own,” Mikael said in his caption.

“Boneezy and I have always planned our own trips and adventures and little did we know that we’d do the same for our gender reveal but here we are,” he added.

He said that they wanted the party to be easygoing and filled with their loved ones.

“We sprinkled a bit of our personality on top and that was it—a fun and memorable day that couldn’t get any better.”

Mikael and Megan tied the knot in 2020 in intimate ceremonies. The Kapuso power couple previously worked together in the GMA Network shows “Dangwa,” “The Stepdaughters,” and “Royal Blood.”

The longtime couple announced they were expecting their first child in December.
