Ellen Adarna explains why they cover their daughter's face in photos

Ellen Adarna revealed the reason why they cover the face of their daughter, Liana, in photos.

On Instagram, Ellen shared an adorable family Christmas photo of herself with son Elias, who was holding two puppies, and husband Derek Ramsay, who was carrying their baby girl. In the photo, the little girl’s face was covered with a heart-eye emoji.

In the comment section, a netizen asked Ellen why they covered Liana’s face.

Ellen repliued: “To avoid evil eye,” and included an eye-shaped amulet emoji in her comment.

In a previous Instagram post, the mom of two also replied to a netizen’s inquiry, saying: “pwera usog dai… pwera usog. Daming evil eyes soo di pa talaga muna miss marites.”

Ellen and Derek got engaged and married in 2021 after less than a year of dating.

They welcomed their first child together, Liana , in October.

Ellen has a son, Elias , with ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz, while Derek also has a son, Austin , with ex-wife Mary Christine Jolly.
