Zia Dantes gives family shoutout during Aliw Awards acceptance speech
Zia Dantes named Breakthrough Child Performer at the Aliw Awards, and during her speech, the 9-year-old daughter of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes made sure to give her family a special shoutout.
Dolled up in a purple dress, Zia took deep breaths before greeting the audience and thanking the organization for the opportunity to speak and "for giving me this wonderful award."
After thanking her singing teacher Jade "for always telling me to never give up and always achieve my dreams," Zia gave her family special mention for the love and support.
“Mama always loving me and guiding me every step of the way,” Zia said. “My family loves me and [is] always there for me.”
Marian posted a video of Zia's acceptance speech on Facebook, where she congratulated her firstborn in the caption. "Congratulations mahal ko. Proud na proud kami sa ‘yo!”
Zia won the award for RMA Studio Academy's "Be Our Guest."
Zia is Marian and Dingdong Dantes’ eldest child. They also have a son named Sixto.
The couple previously expressed that they are very proud of Zia for being brave and performing in front of audiences.
