Yasmien Kurdi dedicates award to kids Ayesha, Raya: ‘We’re always here for each other’

Yasmien Kurdi received a new award and she dedicated it to her daughters, Ayesha and Raya.

The Kapuso actress was named Top Drama Actress, Emerging Brand Builder & Entrepreneur of The Year by Brand Asia Awards, a recognition for which she is “deeply honored and grateful.”

In an Instagram post, Yasmien shared that the award is for her kids.

“This award is dedicated to my beautiful children, Ayesha Zara and Raya Layla—Mama loves you both so much!” she said.

“Everything I do is for you two, and we’re always here for each other. I love you, Pangga!” she added.

Recently, Yasmien opened up about Ayesha allegedly experiencing bullying in school.

Colegio San Agustin, however, said in a statement posted Tuesday, "At the outset, there appears to be no bullying that happened on December 10, 2024.”

Yasmien is set to meet with Department of Education chief Sonny Angara on Thursday, December 19, “to discuss potential solutions and strategies” to address bullying in schools.

The actress previously starred in the 2023 GMA Afternoon Prime series, “The Missing Husband.”

Ayesha and newborn Raya are her kids with husband Rey Soldevilla.
