Jose Manalo now engaged to EB Babe Gene Maranan
Jose Manalo is engaged to former EB Babe Gene Maranan!
On Instagram, the dancer shared photos and videos of the comedian's proposal, which took place at a resort on December 2.
Jose sang “Ikaw” by Yeng Constantino, accompanied by a guitar and saxophone, before moving to the pool area, which was decorated with flowers and hearts. A neon sign with the words “Will you marry me?” was lit up.
Gene was clearly in disbelief. “Ano ‘yan? Totoo ba ‘yan?”
“Weh? Totoo ba ‘yon?” she added. “Hala, nahihiya ako.”
Jose then got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?”
Gene said yes and Jose put the ring on her finger. The couple shared a sweet kiss and hug.
“The easiest YES I’ve ever said,” Gene wrote on her post.
“It’s you. It’s always been you," she added.
Jose was previously married to Anna Lyn Santos, who passed away in 2022. The couple was estranged, and had four children together: Benj, Myki, Ai, and Nicco.
