Dingdong Dantes on Zia’s singing performance: ‘A parent’s golden moment’
Dingdong Dantes couldn’t be prouder of Zia, who is growing up to be very passionate and talented person.
On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime King shared a photo of his daughter on stage, looking like a real star in her bright yellow dress.
In the photo, Zia is seen pouring all her emotions into the song, as she sang with her eyes closed.
“A parent’s golden moment,” Dingdong said in the caption.
In the comments, Coney Reyes said Zia is “another beautiful, gifted star in the making.”
Meanwhile, Iza Calzado commented, “Damang dama! I love it! Go, Zia!”
Dingdong used Andra Day's "Rise Up" as his Instagram music, which is the song that Zia was singing in a rehearsal video that mom Marian Rivera posted on Facebook Tuesday morning.
In her caption, Marian shared the video was literally of Zia's first time to go on stage to sing.
"Pumatak ang luha ko sa panonood sayo habang nag rerehearsal ka. Ito ang una mong pagkakataon na sumubok sa mga bagay na hindi ka pamilyar pero sinubukan mo, as in literal eto ang first time mo tumuntong sa entablado para kumanta," Marian said as she reminded Zia that they are always there to support her dreams.
"You make mama proud as always!" She added.
In November, Zia celebrated her 9th birthday, where she transformed into a pop star with a sing-along party.
Zia also received a birthday gift from one of her idols, Olivia Rodrigo.
A loud and proud Livie, Zia was among the thousands of fans who attended Olivia’s “Guts” world tour in Bulacan in October.
