Yasmien Kurdi’s daughter Ayesha wins 1st place in oratorical competition

Yasmien Kurdi is one proud mom after her daughter, Ayesha, won first place in an oratorical competition.

On Instagram, the actress shared a video of Ayesha’s performance, saying that watching her daughter shine and deliver such a powerful performance fills her heart with joy.

“Ever since she was a kid, I saw her potential in public speaking; she’s truly talented at it! She never stops surprising us. Ayesha, you inspire us every day to reach for the stars! Your dad and I are your biggest fans!” Yasmien said.

She also thanked Ayesha’s teachers who captured her performance.

“We were actually listening outside the theater, kasi bawal ang parents haha! Keep shining, pretty girl!” she said.

In a previous interview with GMA News Online, Yasmien said that her daughter has been giving her “hints” that she's also interested in joining the showbiz industry.

"Tingnan natin kapag nakapag-aral siya, OK lang naman sa akin, wala namang problema kung magiging artista din si Ayesha," Yasmien said.

Ayesha is Yasmien’s first child with her husband, Rey Soldevilla.

In April, the family welcomed their newest member, Raya Layla.
