Tirso Cruz III remembers son TJ on 6th death anniversary

Tirso Cruz III took to Instagram to share a few words for his son, TJ, on the sixth anniversary of his death.

The acclaimed actor shared a throwback photo of his eldest son and said that it was a "kind of sad day for us because 6 years ago, this was the day when you went up to heaven."

“A very painful memory for all of us,” Tirso said. "Although we also rejoice in the thought that you are now at peace and are face to face with our Lord Jesus Christ."

"We miss you so much TJ! We love you!" he added, along with the hashtag, #NeverToBeForgotten.

TJ is the eldest son of Tirso and Lynn Cruz. He died in 2018 after a six-month battle with cancer at only 37 years old.

On the final day of his wake, Tirso led a flash mob style of dancing in honor of TJ. He was cremated days later.
