Beach wedding in Aurora pushes through despite Pepito
Not even a storm stopped a couple from tying the knot at a beach in Aurora on Sunday.
According to a report on "State of the Nation" on Monday night, Reychelle and Reygan meant to postpone their wedding due to Pepito, which caused Signal No. 3 to be raised in the province.
However, the weather that day was sunny and hot, so they decided to push through.
To ensure everyone's safety, personnel from the Philippine Coast Guard were present during the beach wedding.
"Safe naman, hindi na tinapos 'yung vows," Reygan said.
The ceremony was attended by their friends and family. At some point, big waves flooded in, wetting the couple and some of their guests.
"Patunayan na lang natin na wala talagang makakapigil sa atin, kahit bagyo man," Reygan said.
Pepito made its second landfall in Dipaculao, Aurora on Sunday. It exited the Philippines Area of Responsibility on Monday afternoon. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
