Is love enough in a relationship? Ogie Alcasid answers

Ogie Alcasid guested on Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," where he shared updates about life, family, music, and love.

Among the questions that Tito Boy asked the OPM icon was if love is enough in a relationship. The King of Talk referenced the separation of Aiai delas Alas from her husband Gerald Sibayan, which was confirmed on the talk show on Monday. Aiai and Ogie are cousins in real life.

According to Ogie, love is not enough in a relationship.

"No. It's not," the singer-songwriter said. "Isipin mo, Kuya Boy, dalawang tao magkaiba, lalaki, babae, magkaiba ng ugali at lahat."

"Sa simula maganda 'yun, magandang pundayson ang pagmamahalan, pero para magtagal, kung walang respeto sa isa't isa at pananampalataya para sa isa't isa, hindi siya magtatagal," he added.

Ogie and his wife, Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, celebrated their "jowa anniversary" on Monday.

For their anniversary, Ogie shared that he wrote a song for Regine titled "Ikaw Lang Mahal." While the song is still unfinished, he sang a few verses of the song on the talk show.

The couple tied the knot in 2010. They have a son, Nate.

Ogie also has two daughters, Leila and Sarah, with his ex-wife, Michelle Van Eimeren.
