Janine Tugonon welcomes first child

Janine Tugonon has given birth to her first child!

On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up shared photos taken from the hospital showing her baby, herself, and her partner.

She also expressed gratitude for her positive birth experience and a great caesarean section recovery so far.

"Bonjour Madeleine Sophia," she wrote in the caption.

"Also Happy two weeks today! Time to start reading books to you. (Thinking between taxation, accounting, AI, coding and IT? - haha char lang, pero someday 'yan talaga sana)," Janine said.

Janine first posted about her pregnancy last June.

Following her Miss Universe stint in 2012, she pursued a modeling career in the US and has since landed several high profile modeling gigs such as appearing in a Victoria's Secret ad, becoming an NU muse, and walking the runway during the New York Fashion Week in 2017.
