Mariel Padilla weighs in if she'd tell a friend their partner is cheating on them: 'I need to have proof'
Would Mariel Padilla tell a friend that their partner is cheating on them?
This was one of the questions posed to the actress-host on Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," where she shared that it is a case-by-case basis.
She gave an example to Tito Boy, such as if she saw a friend's partner kissing someone else in a restaurant.
"Ako I'd take a picture and maybe I might tell my friend, alam mo 'yun? But I need to have proof that there's an actual affair, you know, I cannot be na sinira ko lang 'yung mind nila, I just tainted their marriage but I have no proof. I need that proof," she said.
Mariel added that she would think hard about telling her friend about their partner's affair, especially if there are children involved.
"Do you want to taint something na hindi ka naman sure?" she said.
For her part, she would want to know if her own husband is cheating on her, but there should be proof as well.
"Of course, I would want you to tell me. I would expect my friend to tell me, but you cannot tell me na wala kang proof. I need that proof and I feel that my friend deserves a proof also, hindi pwede na ganun lang."
In the "Fast Talk" episode, Mariel also talked about her relationship with her husband, Senator Robin Padilla, how she handles bashers online, and more.
Mariel and Robin tied the knot in 2010. They have two daughters together: Isabella, born in 2016, and Gabriela, born in 2019.
