Ellen Adarna says she didn't hide pregnancy: ' I just didn't announce because i don't need to'

Derek Ramsay surprised his followers last week when he posted a photo of his wife Ellen Adarna on a hospital bed with a baby in her arms, and then when he posted a selfie with a newborn baby.

They didn't announce their pregnancy but many understood it was his new baby with Ellen, their first child together, and left congratulatory messages in the comments section.

In the comments section of Derek's post over the weekend, Ellen engaged a follower and clarified they actually weren't going for a surprise and neither did they hide the pregnancy. Ellen said she just didn't feel like she needed to announce it.

"Hindi ko gusto surprise," Ellen began, adding her friends and family actually knew about their pregnancy.

"'Di ko naman tinatago, when i go out, crop top ako kahit malaki tiyan,' she continued.

According to Ellen, she didn't announce her pregnancy because she didn't feel like she needed to. "I want a quiet and peaceful pregnancy," the former actress said. "Last thing I need are opinions from people I don't know and unsolicited advice."

On Instagram Monday, Ellen finally posted about her newborn on her main Instagram account by posting a cute moment between her son Elias and his baby sister, confirming she has given birth to a health baby girl.

Elias is her son with former boyfriend, John Lloyd Cruz. Derek meanwhile has a son named Austin from a previous partner.

Ellen and Derek got married in November 2021 after a whirlwind relationship that began earlier that same year.
