Sunshine Cruz, Ina Raymundo weigh in on open relationships

Are Sunshine Cruz and Ina Raymundo in favor of open relationships?

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actresses both agreed that they won't judge couples who are under such arrangements.

An open relationship is an agreement between a couple, allowing them to have another romantic or sexual partner.

"Well, it's 2024, it'll be 2025 soon. But you know what, 'yung ibang mas modern talaga na mga relationships, I will not judge them if they decide na mag-open sila because if that's how will keep marriage na matagal na, tapos gusto n'yo maka-experience ng something, alam mo 'yun na something fun," Ina said.

But for her fellow Christians, she said that it's not advisable.

"This is 'yung hindi Kristiyano. If that's what you want to do, I will not judge you kasi it could work for other couples," she said.

Sunshine shared the same sentiments, saying, "Basta walang tinatapakang tao at nagwo-work para sa inyo para magbigay ng spice sa relationship, then I guess it's fine."

When asked if they would do it, Ina said, "Probably. Kasi siguro epekto 'to ng married for 22 years. I've been with the same man for 24 years."

She said that her husband, Brian Poturnak, even allows her to have a crush and does not get jealous.

Meanwhile, Sunshine said that she's the jealous type, so she cannot tell yet.

"Ayokong magsalita nang tapos pagdating diyan. Never say never," she said. "Gusto ko siyempre kung puwede akin lang talaga 'yung sweetheart ko, 'di ba? Pero 'yun nga, hindi naman sa nang-ja-judge, whatever works for others, go, 'di ba? Relationship nila 'yon eh."

Ina and Brian tied the knot in 2002. They have five kids: Mikaela, Erika, Anika, Jacob, and Minka.

Meanwhile, Sunshine was previously married to Cesar Montano. They separated in 2013 and now enjoy a blended family setup. They have three daughters, Angelina, Sam, and Chesca.
