Angelica Panganiban marks 40 days since mom's death
Angelica Panganiban paid tribute to her late mother, Annabelle “Ebela” Panganiban, on the 40th day since her passing.
The actress posted an Instagram video of her mom’s emotional speech during her Siargao wedding to Gregg Homan.
In her caption, Angelica said it has been exactly 40 days since God called Annabelle.
“Sabi nila, ngayon ka daw aakyat papuntang heaven. Sana hindi ka hiningal paakyat Ma. Sana masaya ang welcome party mo dyan sa taas,” she said.
The actress said that they held a recelebration, wherein a lot of visitors cried and laughed as they talked about Annabelle.
“Sana may last sermon pa Ma. Sana may huling tawanan pa. Last bilin. Huling I love you. Sana mas marami pang oras Ma,” Angelica said.
“Hinanda mo ko sa maraming bagay, pero hindi dun sa wala ka na. Hindi ako handa sa huling usap, huling yakap, huling asaran at huling tawa mo,” she added.
To end her post, Angelica shared a moving message dedicated to her mom.
“Ma, ikaw ang bumuhay sakin kaya ikaw ang buhay ko. Kumpyansa sa mga takot ko. Gabay sa dilim, katahimikan sa gulo. Pag mamahal at pagpapatawad sa bawat galit ko. Ikaw ang Mama ko. Ikaw lang,” she said.
“Mahal na mahal kita Ma. Hanggang sa muli.”
Angelica announced the death of her mother in August. Annabelle was 61 years old when she passed. A cause of death was not named.
In a previous post, Angelica credited all that she has now to Annabelle. She also said that the lessons she learned from Annabelle help her become a good wife to Gregg and a good mom to baby Bean.
