Who is Caroline Joyeux, EJ Obiena's German girlfriend?
EJ Obiena's fans have been seeing more of his girlfriend, Caroline Joyeux, lately as the couple takes some time off from their normally busy training schedule as athletes.
Caroline was recently in the Philippines for a three-week vacation, accompanying EJ in media engagements as relaxing trips alike.
She even joined the International Coastal Cleanup Drive in Pasay City before they jetted off to France to attend the Paris Fashion Week.

1. She is a triple jumper
Born in Germany, Caroline is a triple jumper based in Berlin. Triple jump is an event in track and field in which an athlete makes a horizontal jump for distance incorporating three distinct, continuous movements—a hop, a step, and a jump.
She has joined numerous triple jump competitions in Europe.
2. She is a beach babe
As seen on her Instagram posts, Caroline enjoys the beach. She has been to various beaches in Europe and in 2022, she went to Amanpulo and El Nido in Palawan with EJ.
3. She has been in a relationship with EJ since 2020
Caroline and EJ have been together since 2020. They met at a training camp in Italy.
In an interview with "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Filipino athlete said Caroline is someone who makes him want to be a better person.
Caroline has also met EJ's parents, who have been supportive of their relationship.
4. A supportive girlfriend
Caroline has been lowkey supportive of EJ's pole vaulting career.
She watched EJ in Paris for the 2024 Paris Olympics and also wore a shirt with the Filipino athlete's name during the men's pole vault final. She also painted her nails with the hues of the Philippine flag.
When EJ concluded his campaign in the Paris Olympiad, Caroline commented on his post and said, "You are a real fighter. I'm so proud of you. We will be back!"
5. She is a Harry Potter fan
Caroline is a Potterhead! She recently went on a trip to the United Kingdom, visiting "Harry Potter" locations.
Wearing a Hogwarts pullover, she was all smiles as she posed for photos at Alnwick Castle, quipping that she needed some broomstick lessons.
