Robi Domingo shares 35th birthday wish: 'I want Maiqui's sickness to be gone'
Robi Domingo has turned 35 this year, and his birthday wish is not for himself but for his wife, Maiqui Pineda.
On Instagram, the Filipino host posted a two-part video on his birthday, sharing his reflections and a wish for this year.
At 35, Robi said he was experiencing "birthday blues."
"Some people say na mararamdaman mo na tumatanda ka na, but also it's a time na puwede kang mag-reflect sa buhay mo," he said.
In the next five years, he said he plans to be a better husband to Maiqui and, hopefully, welcome a baby when the time comes.
"Hopefully, next year, when the Lord permits it, I hope to introduce you to a Baby Robi or Baby Maiqui," he said.
"Maybe it's not time yet, not yet, but I'm hoping na mangyari," he added, saying he's more than ready to be a father.
Robi also shared his birthday wish for this year.
"I want Maiqui's sickness to be gone and go back to our original plan," he said. "And that's my wish for my birthday. It's not for me anymore."
In a separate post, Maiqui dedicated a birthday post to Robi.
"ILYSM, Robi. It's been the best being married to you. Not a day goes by without us laughing together," she wrote.
The couple got married in January after getting engaged in November 2022.
In 2023, Maiqui was diagnosed with a rare form of an autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis.
