Saab Magalona 'overflowing with joy' with son Pancho's latest milestone

Saab Magalona took to Instagram to celebrate her son Pancho's latest milestone.

The musician and podcast host’s latest IG Reel shows that her six-year-old son is now able to touch his different body parts after his Yaya Analiza would name them. Pancho can also follow instructions like “hands up” and “hold.”

According to Saab, her husband Jim Bacarro helps with their eldest son’s physical therapy, and tag teams with Pancho’s Yaya Analiza with this task.

“We have so much gratitude for her. She goes over and beyond in doing exercises at home,” Saab said.

Whenever Pancho did the exercises well, Analiza would tell him that he did a good job. Pancho would then smile, visibly proud of himself.

“You can have the most expensive programs and equipment but the most effective thing in instilling confidence in a child is a fully supportive team at home,” Saab said.

She also shared a message for her fellow parents.

“If you are also parents of a child with disabilities, I hope you are able to let go of the guilt if you are not doing everything yourself. On the other hand, I hope you are able to find support so you can take care of yourself too,” Saab said.

“We cannot pour from an empty cup. And right now, mine is overflowing with joy. Cheers to Pancho’s progress,” she added.

Saab has been open about the details of Pancho's birth, his struggles with cerebral palsy, and how he bravely fights through his health challenges.

Previously, Saab shared that Pancho can now also pull himself up to stand up on his own and has made significant walking progress.

In 2023, Pancho started going to regular school.
