Iya Villania on 5th child: ‘I had a very strong feeling that it’s a girl’

Iya Villania shared that her and Drew Arellano’s eldest child, Primo, is already helping them come up with a name for the newest member of their family.

In an interview with GMA News Online, the Kapuso host said that the little boy is suggesting the name Amethyst.

When asked if they are expecting a girl, Iya said, “Ayoko pang i-confirm, but feeling niya. Bina-vibe niya na it’s a girl, so Amethyst ‘yung gusto niya i-contribute na pangalan sa list of names namin.”

Iya also feels that she is pregnant with another girl.

"I had a very strong feeling that it’s a girl, so i-co-confirm ko pa. Malalaman niyo," she shared.

This is already Iya’s fifth pregnancy and, according to her, she’s not changing anything on how she will handle it.

“I’m just gonna do it the way I’ve known to do it. Also, being very aware that each pregnancy is different, so even if I do things the same, my body won’t necessarily react the same way because, I mean, I’m 38 now,” she said.

“Tapos bahala na if along the way I need to make changes depending on what my body says,” she added.

Iya just renewed her contract with GMA Network on Wednesday.

The Australian-Filipino beauty hosts the “Chika Minute” segment of GMA Integrated News' flagship newscast “24 Oras.”

She and Drew tied the knot in 2014.

Primo is their first child, followed by Leon, Alana, and Astro.

In January, Iya and Drew teased netizens about having their fifth baby.
