Coleen Garcia mourns passing of Billy Crawford's dad Jack: 'He remained strong'

Coleen Garcia is mourning the death of Jack Crawford, the father of her husband, Billy.

On Instagram, the actress shared family photos from her wedding with Billy, as well as sweet moments of Jack with their son Amari.

"We'll miss you, Daddy C. You can rest now," Coleen wrote. "No more pain. We love you, and you will be in our hearts forever."

She added, Jack "remained strong, jolly, and quick-witted" until "his last days." 

Coleen said she and Billy prayed that Jack would make it to their wedding, and he did. The couple was also grateful that Jack got to create memories with their son.

"It's been a long and tough battle for him, and now we lift him up, knowing he's in Your arms," Coleen ended.

On Monday, Billy announced the death of his father.

"I'm sorry, Dad. I wasn't there to say goodbye, give you a last hug, or tell you how much I love you. You'll always be in my heart," Billy wrote.

Billy and Coleen have been married since 2018. They welcomed Amari two years later.

Billy is currently one of the coaches of GMA Network's "The Voice Kids Philippines" with Julie Anne San Jose, Pablo, and Stell of SB19. It airs on Sundays at 7 p.m. after "Bubble Gang."
