Carlene Aguilar to Jennylyn Mercado: 'Thank you Mommy Jen for loving Calix as your own'
Jennylyn Mercado is a sweet stepmom to Dennis Trillo's son, Calix, who celebrated his 17th birthday on Sunday.
On Instagram, the Ultimate Star posted photos of the teenager in a fencing competition and wrote a short greeting for him on his special day.
"Happy birthday, Kuya Calix! May all your wishes come true today and every day. We love you!" she said.
In the comments, Calix's mom, Carlene Aguilar, thanked Jennylyn for accepting her son.
"Thank you Mommy Jen for loving Calix as your own," she said.
Meanwhile, Dennis also posted a greeting for Calix on Instagram, sharing a video of one of his fencing matches.
"Daisy Siete! Congrats to my panganay, so proud of you, mahal na mahal ka namin! We’re always here for you! Happy Birthday," he said.
Calix is the eldest child in Dennis and Jennylyn's blended family. He has two younger siblings: Jazz, Jennylyn's son with Patrick Garcia, and Baby Dylan, DenJen's first child together.
Jennylyn and Dennis got married in 2021. They welcomed Dylan the following year.
The couple has been posting photos of their blended family on social media, sharing sweet moments between Calix, Jazz, and Dylan.
