Claudine Barretto asks prayers for her sick mom: ‘She’s the only parent I have left’
Claudine Barretto took to social media to ask for prayers from her fans and followers for her mom, Estrella “Inday” Barretto.
On Instagram, the “Lovers/Liars” actress shared a photo of a hospital room at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, where Inday is currently admitted.
“Mom, we love and need you dearly,” Claudine wrote.
“Please get well soon. Palanggas, please pray for my mom,” she added.
According to Claudine, her mom, 87, has been in the hospital for more than a week and is suffering from lupus.
“I need all your prayers, please,” she said. “She is the only parent I have left.”
Claudine also said to include her in her fans’ prayers as she hasn’t been able to eat and sleep, causing her to shed weight. She is now down to 97 pounds.
“God bless you all and your families as well,” she said.
In February, Claudine’s comeback project “Lovers/Liars” aired its finale on GMA-7. She co-starred with Yasser Marta and Shaira Diaz.
